What data we collect- Enquiry form: name, email and/or phone (WhatsApp/Telegram), preferred language, boat budget and any details you choose to share about the boat you are looking for.
- Communications: the content of emails and messages you exchange with us, and scheduling data if you book a call.
- Technical data: cookies and similar technologies — see our Cookie Policy.
We do not knowingly collect data from persons under 18 and we do not use automated decision-making or profiling.
Why we process it (legal bases under GDPR)- To answer your enquiry and provide our services — performance of a contract or steps prior to a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To send follow-ups about our services — your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)); you can withdraw it at any time.
- To run, secure and improve the service — our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- To comply with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)), e.g. tax and accounting rules.
Who processes it for usWe use reputable providers to run the service: Tilda (website and forms), HubSpot (CRM), Google (email, storage, analytics), Cloudflare (domain and email routing), Cal.com (scheduling) and Meta/WhatsApp (messaging). Some providers are located outside the EEA; in that case transfers rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep itEnquiries: up to 24 months after our last contact. Client files: for the duration of our engagement and afterwards as long as the law requires (e.g. tax records). You can ask us to delete your data earlier — see below.
Your rightsYou may request access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, or object to processing; where processing is based on consent you may withdraw it at any time. Write to
info@boatbuyerspain.com — we reply within one month. If you believe we have mishandled your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish supervisory authority, Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es).
